Hello! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Laura, and I have always been fascinated by the way that young children learn and grow.

Even as a girl, I was always interested in observing my younger sisters as they began to learn new skills. As I grew to a teen, I was often called to babysit, which I enjoyed very much. Again, I took note of what seemed to be developmentally typical behavior for various ages. When I took a class in exploring childhood during my senior year of high school, I knew I had found my passion.

My classmates were amused at my intense interest in all that we studied. I found employment thereafter at a childcare center, and I have also worked as a nanny for several families. My greatest delight has been enjoying my own family.

God has blessed me with amazing husband and four wonderful children, two of whom I was blessed with through the miracle of birth, and two of whom I was blessed with through the miracle of marriage. I am attending Green River Community College, working towards my Early Childhood Education degree.
